The Biozone 1000 Air Purifier is very good for cleaning odors but will not remove smoke from the air. This air cleaner covers a room with 1000 square feet. A higher or lower powered machine may be needed determining on the odor levels and room size. This air purifier is very good to turn on if the room smells. It will knock out the odors quickly. If you have a bigger room look at the Biozone 2000, and if you have a smaller room look at the Biozone 500.
